The story of Charlie Drys.
In keeping with the turn of the century, Charles Jonathan Dry opened Drys at the age of 19, inspired by the many stories of his seafaring grandfather, unbroken enthusiasm and the anticipation of the new, better century.
Despite the prevailing meat shortage and the fact that only rich Englishmen had the financial means to buy high-quality meat, he opened a grill house, motivated by the injustice that this juicy, tasty meat was only available to rich citizens, with the aim of offering this high-quality meat to the general public at a reasonable price.

Whether rich or poor, vegetarian or not, every guest is welcome at Charlie Drys and can immerse themselves in a world of indulgence and satisfaction.
In order to guarantee this satisfaction for all our guests, we pay particular attention to respectful animal husbandry. All our products are therefore sustainably bred and certified organic. The entire animal is fully processed and has had a much longer life than many farm animals.
True to the idea of Charles Jonathan, the Drys is a matter of the heart for the benefit of every guest and animal.
